Discover the Key Benefits of our Solar Humidification System

Hockey Stadiums operate in specific air conditions, regarding its need to maintain ice rink quality, while offering a comfortable experience to spectators, managers must deal with this humidity level challenge of maintaining optimal operations and user experience simultaneously. Fluctuating humidity levels can cause inconsistent ice, higher maintenance costs, and frustrated visitors. Suzy Green Energy’s solar humidification system for stadiums is an innovative alternative to improve user experience and ice rink quality and reduce operational costs. By attending our Webinar, you’ll learn:

Suzys Green Energy's Solar Humidification System Cost reduction in Stadiums

  • Electricity costs reduction: Traditional humidification systems consume large amounts of energy, Suzy’s product offers an automatic service that will operate according to the stadium’s needs, this characteristic allows an efficient use of energy, which leads to a reduction in electricity cost.
  • Ice rink reparation cost: Effective humidity control inside a hockey stadium leads to a high-quality ice rink, which means a well-preserved installation, with less future reparations and maintenance, decreasing the risk of high long-term expenses
  • Maintenance reduction: Traditional humidification systems can require constant intervention and maintenance, leading to higher expenses, on the other hand, Suzy Green Energy’s humidification system requires less intervention due to its robust design, which reduces long-term maintenance costs.

The Benefits of Our Automatic Solar Humification System

  • Ice rink conditions: Ice quality is exceptional for hockey stadiums and Suzy Green Energy’s solar humidification system is designed to adapt its functionality according to the ice conditions in real-time, with its interior sensors the system will monitor ice humidity and temperature, and according to the ice rink needs, the system automatically will change the humidification levels.
  • Environmental conditions: External weather conditions can influence the humidity levels inside the stadium, Suzy Green Energy’s solar humidification system external sensors will detect automatically if the temperature is too high to influence the stadium humidity and will intensify humidification to counteract the effect of heat.
  • Number of visitors: A higher visitor attendance generates more heat and lower levels of humidity, which can influence the ice rink conditions and overall spectator experience. Connected to the organization’s attendance data registers, the system will automatically adapt the humidity required for every event according to the number of spectators.

How to Achieve Stadium's Performance Peak with our Solar Humidification System for Stadiums

  • Events increase: By improving the ice rink’s overall quality, game performance can be better, leading to satisfied events managers, who will return to purchase stadium services, which means an overall improvement of the stadium’s reputation as event’s organizers
  • Sales increase: By improving environmental comfort, stadiums will experience an attendance increase, due to returning happy visitors who may recommend the stadium to friends and different people, achieving a bigger audience, and leading to a potential sales increase.
  • Visitors’ comfort: Satisfied spectators will lead to returning spectators. Suzy Green Energy’s solar humidification system guarantees comfort, and a good user experience is positive for business reviews and loyal visitors.

Do you want to know other practices to optimize your stadium's air and ice rink quality?

Controlling humidity and ventilation inside the hockey stadium can be one of the most challenging problems for a manager. That’s why we recollect the following practices and devices that can help you optimize air quality and improve your stadium performance:

  • Electric ice resurfacing and edging: These devices are ideal to reduce CO and NO2 emissions in ice stadiums and can also reduce the frequent ventilation necessity. Even if they can be expensive at the beginning, in the long term they can save maintenance costs. These devices are a perfect substitute for gasoline and diesel resurfacing and edging.
  • Catalytic convertors: By reducing CO and hydrocarbons in ice arenas, these devices are ideal to control pollution and improve air quality.
  • Ventilation schedule: Ventilation is an important factor in keeping quality air levels. As hockey stadiums organize different events, the management department must determine a ventilation schedule for opening gates and windows, increasing the air circulation inside the building, and decreasing pollution levels. The ventilation strategy must consider overnight and event strategies and can also analyze installed automated ventilation systems.
  • NO2 pollution monitors: By collecting continuous samples of pollution levels, stadiums can guarantee a healthy environment. It is recommended to use NO2 monitors designated as a Federal Reference Method (FRM) or Federal Equivalent Method (FEM) to ensure minimum monitor requirements.
